BodhSpark is the learning brand for Class 1 – 5 (Ages 6–11). It builds real understanding: hands first, then the picture, then the written symbol. No ratta, no gaps carried forward.
रटना नहीं, समझना। हाथ से करो — समझ अपने-आप आएगी।
By the end of Class 5, every child reads with understanding, feels numbers (not just writes them), and can explain in their own words why an answer is right. No gaps carried into Class 6.
Real understanding. In the logo: the letter b, built from counting beads that flow into one smooth bowl — things a child can hold, becoming an idea.
The aha moment. In the logo: the top bead, lit Spark Lime — the second it clicks. Every lesson is built to reach that bead.
Hands first: sticks, stones, coins, a weighing scale, folding paper.
Then the picture: draw it, tally it, show it on a number line.
Only now the symbol: 3 + 4 = 7. The child already knows why.
Riya holds 3 beads in one hand, 4 in the other. She pushes them together and counts.
She draws it: start at 3, four hops on the number line. She lands on 7.
Only now the symbols. She doesn't remember that 3 + 4 is 7. She knows it.
A concept is done when the child can explain it, not when the page is done.
Every child reads aloud and tells it back in their own words.
Every new idea starts with a real object.
Small checks every week, so a weak spot is caught in Class 2, not Class 7.
A lowercase b for bodh. Its stem is counting beads — the things a child holds. They flow into one smooth bowl — the idea, understood. The top bead is lit — the spark. The logo is the method: hands first, then it clicks. The name is one word, two parts: Bodh + Spark. Always written BodhSpark — never "Bodh Spark", "bodhspark" or "BODHSPARK".

Also never on busy photos. No shadows, outlines or 3D.
Eight colours, nothing else. No gradients. Green and red are reserved for right and not-yet, so a child never confuses brand colour with a mark. Keep these apart from NeevStep (violet + sunshine) and CCA (blue + orange) — this is its own brand.

Three free Google fonts. One for headings, one for reading, one for Hindi. All three print well on a school photocopier.
Curious, clear, encouraging. Like a teacher who asks “why do you think so?” and waits for the answer. Portal and app labels: simple English only.
School papers carry the school's name on top and "Powered by BodhSpark" in black at the bottom of every page — the same rule as NeevStep papers (owner, 2026-09-30). Everything must work in black and white.
Use these files. Don't redraw the mark. Colours in code come only from tokens.css.
